bruce: Stop retuning - your just losing the fix on the transmitter that you already had. If your losing channels, the problem normally lies with your system - check leads and connections.

Retune has been confusing. Digital box (which is older than our Freeview TV) has BBC channels and Sky News.
Dispite second attempt the TV ( 3 years ) can not find these.

thanks for response, but as all other channels have come through the retune, I cannot see that the fault lies with my system.
any other helpful suggestions would be gratefully received.
would seem that this change is not working, how unexpected!!!

27th Feb I have retuned today but I cannot get any signal for channel 56 . Has these programmes moved to another channel? I am at TA246SR and receive signal from Mendip

To all posters who have lost channels from Mendip today:
Firstly, as Mike suggests, check for any loose or damaged cables or connections as any faults in your aerial system could be preventing the channels which have moved being found on their new frequencies. If you are still missing channels such as Pick, Dave or Sky News you should contact the Freeview advice line for assistance (some viewers may need a new aerial which will be arranged free of charge if you don't have satellite or cable), details can be found at the link below:

The schedule of the 700 MHz clearance changes on the Mendip transmitter shown on this web site is incorrect.
The correct information is published by digitaluk.
