P Mackintosh: Firstly, this is an independent technical help website which is not connected with either Freeview, or any broadcaster or transmitter company, so nobody posting here can do anything about any transmitter fault and it is extremely unlikely that anyone from Freeview will see your message here. The BBC's reception advice pages report no faults for Knockmore and neither I nor any other volunteer contributors have access to any other information.
If you provide a full postcode we can check what signal strengths are predicted to be like at your location and may be able to offer further advice. It's worth checking for simple faults such as any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV which can make the situation worse but are easily fixed.

This is not Freeview's website, it's a free technical helpsite.
As advised in the post before yours, the transmitter is the subject of Planned Engineering and has been listed as such for a while now.
If you live in a weak signal area then the effects of the work may lead to no signal at times and if you retuned when you had no signal, it will have just cleared your correct tuning, and you'll have to retune again to see if you now have signal. If you haven't retuned at all - DON'T.
If you provide a full postcode we can look at your predicted reception and might be able to offer further advise.

Hi, All the channels I have tested on COM5 and COM6 are displaying
"The channel is scrambled or not available" since yesterday.
The other multiplexes are ok. Two other households locally have mentioned
many missing channels to us.
I can't really reset my humax to factory settings as we would lose too many recordings.
And now that I have heard that other households are having similar problems
I won't be resetting for a while yet.
This page reports "This transmitter has no current reported problems"
I think that might be erroneous and need updating.

I wouldn't reset any equipment or retune, you will most likely just lose your current correct settings. Give the same advise to your neighbours.
Transmitter reports here come from BBC Engineering, so unless a BBC service is affected a report is unlikely to appear here.
Unfortunately trying to find fault reports for commercial multiplexes is like getting blood from a stone!
Your could try contacting Arqiva who are the transmitter company responsible for those two multiplexes, make sure it's clear your neighbours have the same issue, so it's definitely a transmission problem. Try 0333-032-8000
Failing that you could try contacting one of the major TV broadcasters on one of those multiplexes and asking them if they can contact "whoever" to sort it as you can't watch - try Channel 4 as they have Film4+1 and 4Seven and others on ArqA,, or even QVC as they have QVC Beauty and QVC Style on ArqB. Commercial broadcasters ought to be concerned about a loss of viewers!

I'm sorry your post is too vague to understand exactly what you mean. I think you mean you just moved into a premises and don't have a Freeview signal and you are somewhere near Dufftown which is roughly south of the Knockmore transmitter.
Coverage from the Knockmore Transmitter can be patchy depending on your exact location for which we need a FULL postcode. Reception predictors do not work on partial codes or place names.
