Feedback

For the last six years, I have answered many thousands of personal emails that you have sent to UK Free TV.
Sadly, I am unable to offer this personal service at the moment.
Until I can restore this service, please can you leave any questions you have on an appropriate page, where they will be answered as soon as possible, or below, if you can't figure out where to ask.
I look forward to your questions!

Briantist:
A suggestion to help those seeking information on what transmitter to use and what the coverage is like. How about a specific page, perhaps drawn from existing coded pages, that allows the entry of a full post code and then displays the transmitter details.
I know there is such a page but it is so difficult to find that I'm sure many don't get the information they seek.

Your map does not seem to work correctly, I tap say swansea and the map locates off the coast of Africa.
It does not seem to do what you want it to do.
So pretty useless as an aid and still none the wiser regarding frequency of Cardif "Radio Wales" on DAB,
As I can tune and store it via Swansea but then looses it around Newport.

Alun Davies: Unfortunately the DAB maps on this website has been broken for a while. BBC Radio Wales can be found on the South East Wales multiplex on VHF block 12C.

Until recently I had good viewing on all Freeview channels. Recently, channel 43 carrying BBC1, 2, 4 etc has become poor. All the other channels are very good, BBC1HD all ITV etc. Why? The aerial points to the Preseli transmitter out of sight over the hill. It sometimes gets a decent picture from Devon (50 miles away across the Bristol Channel) through the back of the aerial!

Roger:
please can you give us your full post code so that we can examine the reception and transmission conditions at your location. That the transmitter aerial is 'hidden' by a hill may be a clue, but examining the conditions may help.

I am watching the Tried and Tasted food programme and am not surprised that you have a panel of people who are not representative of the country.

c perry: And I am surprised that you emailed a website that has nothing at all to do with the programme makers or the channel....

I would like to watch the Taggart program but I'm extremely hard of hearing and need subtitles which Taggart does not show. Why is this?

Probably because the broadcaster has not chosen to include subtitles on that programme. You should contact the actual broadcaster to ask them if subtitles can be made available.
