Sorry for my absence
As you may know, I have been experiencing problems with my shoulder since Christmas. Since that time I have had a stabbing pain in my back which was made considerably worse by using a computer mouse or typing on a keyboard.
It has been extremely frustrating being unable to use the computer for this time. I've been glued to keyboards of various sorts since I was nine years old (yes, it was a manual typewriter!) so being unable to do that has been another pain.
Anyway, first they did an x-ray of my right shoulder:
And from this it can be determined that there is an obstruction in the rotator cuff. I've had lots of physiotherapy on this which has helped, but that had also added to the discomfort.
Anyway, last week I visited a specalist and he injected it with a huge shringe full of corisol. First this added to the pain, then made my grip randomly weak (I kept dropping things) but now the pain has subsided to the extent that I can do a little more typing.
Anyway, I have missed you all and I shall now endeavour to get back up to speed with UK Free TV.
Top of my list is today's Digital Britain report, and then I will go over any important news I have missed and make sure everything on the site is OK. I also plan to add a new Twitter #ukfreetv box and I will be writing about Windows 7 and Freeview!
